a question about expired private servers

so a friend of mine had a private server, and it expired. he has a week left before his lockers expire.
he said if i add time to his server i can have his stuff but when i search for his server, i can not find it.

so my question is, once a servers time runs out, how do you find it to add more time, or does the server owner have to add the time?

Well when did it expire because i watched people with servers buy more time when they expire

The owner would have to renew it first

Then when it's active players can donate

also I think ( not sure ) that as soon as a server runs outta time those lockers are gone. Mine ran out for a few days, I renewed it and Bam! 15 lockers gone.
